Difficulty
April 22, 2009I really wonder why some people find it so tough to hit the ‘reply’ button on the phone and type a few characters and reply a message it baffles me completely. I’ll be so grateful to anyone who can explain to me why thank you.
Irritant
April 20, 2009Don’t call me a close friend when you’re not one. Close friends don’t hide stuff from each other so please keep your distance thank you.
Proud of them
April 16, 2009Liverpool played a great game with Chelsea in the 2nd leg of the Champions league quarter finals. Trailing 3-1 from the first leg, it meant that they needed to score at least 3 goals and win by 2 to progress into the next round. Honestly, I had already written them off because they had only scored 3 goals in their last 10 games against Chelsea :/ And it was made worse when I saw Gerrard in the stands.
However, the actually led 2-0 at halftime which was a complete surprise that they outplayed Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Memories of Istanbul pushed all of us to believe once again (Imagine the racket we created at Ryan’s place)
Chelsea, led by the inspirational Drogba and Lampard, scored 3 goals to turn the game around 3-2 and 6-3 on aggregate. Honestly, even Shou Chen and I gave up and left Ryan’s place. But when I got home my dad was still watching the game and Liverpool scored two quick goals with about 10 minutes to make the aggregate 6-5. That meant one more goal from the team in red would have won them the contest and once again, Liverpool showed their fighting spirit that they’re so famous for. Istanbul anyone?
Lampard fired an unstoppable shot that bounced off the post in the 89min and the tie indeed became over but this game showed that 2 teams so eager to fight for the place in the semi finals against, in my opinion, the best team in the world barcelona.
They might have lost, but they never go down without a fight.
